Hossegor’s beaches (La Nord, La Gravière, La Sud) fire on clean Atlantic groundswell, with the nearby Gouf de Capbreton canyon adding punch. La Gravière in particular is famous for heavy, hollow barrels.

The banks are best in early autumn before winter storms rearrange the sand, and offshore easterlies groom the peaks.
